The Pact Woodland Project represents a major undertaking for a small charity.
Pact secured the funding to cover the costs of the sculpture from an anonymous private funder and further funding was secured from South Dublin County Council. We are deeply grateful for their contribution.
We thank all those many suppliers, companies and individuals who have contributed materials and services for free or at reduced rates.
All this means that for the full costs of the Woodland Project have been met.
It is many years since Pact has undertaken a significant appeal and some of Pact's supporters put forward a wish for an appeal to be launched in conjuction with the Woodland Project to support the work of the agency. No funds raised by donations to the appeal will go to the cost of the Woodland Project but to the work of the agency.
Many friends of Pact supporetes the Pact Woodland appeal by making a contribution and have been part of something that they and their families can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
The woodland appeal and other funds raised in relation to the project reached in the region of €20,000.
