Pact is seeking passionate, skilled and committed individuals with a Social Work, lived experience of adoption or law background to join our Board of Trustees. Pact is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children and families through adoption services.

Pact has Charity status and is Accredited by the Adoption Authority of Ireland.

Our Services

Pact works in partnership with Tusla offering the following services:

• Domestic Adoption Assessments
• Inter-country Adoption Assessments

We are looking for individuals with experience in:

• Charity governance and compliance
• Legal expertise (family/adoption law preferred)
• Marketing and communications
• Lived experience of adoption

Responsibilities

• Attend regular board meetings (approx. 6 per year), preferably in person at our offices in Rathfarnham
• Provide strategic oversight and governance
• Act as an ambassador for the organisation
• Ensure regulatory and safeguarding compliance

Commitment

• Voluntary
• Approx. 4 hours per month

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience of working with voluntary agencies and their associated reporting requirements, with a Social Work, lived experience of adoption or law background.
